Talent Show

24 May 2013

Want to be in the talent show? Come show us what you've got! We will be screening all talent show acts on the following dates and times:

Monday June 3rd 3:45-4:30pm
Tuesday June 4 8:00-8:45am
Wednesday June 5 8:00-8:45am

The Talent Show will be held on Friday June 14th at 9:30am

Return the bottom portion of the form to the front office by Wed. May 29th. Please do NOT give it to your classroom teacher. It MUST be turned into the front office. Late forms will NOT be accepted.

Due to the overwhelming talent here at our school and in order to keep the talent who's to a reasonable length of time, we have had to set the following criteria:

  • Each participant in a group must turn in their own separate permission slip.
  • All acts must be organized, planned and prepared before you come to the screening.
  • All groups must be prepared at screening with music, props, costumes, etc.
  • All skits must have a script turned into Mrs. Norling, Mrs. Pedee or Ms. Ridenour by Monday, June 3rd
  • Acts can be no longer than 2 1/2 minutes
  • No "lip-sync" acts…we want to hear your talent!
If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Norling, Mrs. Pedee or Ms. Ridenour.

Additional Forms are available in the Front Office.

Bus Transportation Info 2013-2014

17 May 2013

Representatives from the Tacoma Public Schools Facilities Department attended our last PTA meeting and agreed to find answers to the questions about bus routes, schedules and before- and after-school programs and provide them to you this week. Here were the questions they heard:
· Can parents have a central location with an express bus directly to Hunt?
· Where are the bus routes?
· How many buses will there be?
· What are the pick-up and drop-off times?
· Some fifth-grade students take band at Mason. Their parents drop them off in the morning, will a bus take them to Hunt after practice next school year?

Please take a look at the TRANSPORTATION MEMO provided which hopefully answers most of the questions parents have regarding bussing for next year.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Stacy Flores, the TPS Facilities Communication Coordinator at (253) 571-3350
