The Washington Elementary PTA has many ways to get involved and support our mission whether making a direct donation, volunteering, or simply attending our community events and having fun!
Volunteer
There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the school year. First, volunteers must complete the required volunteer form and background check with Tacoma Public Schools. Forms can be accessed and downloaded HERE.

Donate
The PTA understands that busy family life makes it difficult to volunteer and fundraise. A donation is just as impactful as hands on work. Washington Elementary is a 501(c)(3) organization, and its Federal Tax ID # is: 91-1140240. Thank you!
Attend a Community Event
Many of our community events are free to attend, but most have fundraising options during the events including raffle prizes and concessions for purchase.
Where the Funds Go
The budget for the 2023-2024 school year was approved by a unanimous vote of its members at the June 2023 membership meeting.
