In case you don’t remember or are new to the school, Cat Tracks is a great program that encourages reading and celebrates the practice of reading at home. Every month each child will get a calendar to keep track of the reading that happens at home. If the student reads at least 20 minutes a day for 20 days out of the month, they will receive a Cat Tracks prize! Remember that every calendar needs to have the students name and parent / guardians legible signature verifying the reading that happened for a prize to be awarded. If you have any questions please contact me.
P.S. Students awarded prizes most months of the school year will be eligible for the “whole shebang” come June. Stay tuned for more details….. (Usually a book and prize given at the end of the school year! The kids love it!!)
