Scrip Fundraiser
WHAT IS SCRIP?: "Scrip” is a fancy word for “Gift Cards.” The scrip fundraiser runs all year-long to raise money for the school library and other school enrichment activities. The PTA purchases gift cards from popular retailers at a discount. You then purchase the gift cards at face value. You can make money for Washington-Hoyt without spending one extra dime! Scrip Order Dates are also all posted on the Calendar.
EXAMPLE: You pay $25 dollars for a Safeway Scrip Card = You receive a $25 Safeway Gift Card! (There is no cost to you, the merchant gives a percentage of your gift card to the PTA.)
It's simple too!
1) Fill out the Scrip Order Form
2) Select the store and dollar amount you want
3) Write a check and put it in the envelope
4) Have your child give it to their teacher or you can drop it off in the PTA Box in the Front Office.
5) The following week your Scrip gift cards will be sent home with your student!

April 2010 Scrip News - We've added a new merchant to the list!
Washington-Hoyt PTA is excited to welcome Nick-N-Willy’s Pizza as a participating merchant in our scrip program!
Nick-N-Willy’s pizzas are made with freshly made dough, hand kneaded and tossed, then topped generously with the freshest and finest quality ingredients. Have it baked to perfection in our Woodstone Italian style brick oven for dine-in, take out, or delivery; or take it home to bake yourself (Take-N-Bake concept). Remember, Nick-N-Willy’s Pizzas are: “Always fresh. Always hot.”

Did you know the school can earn money when you buy groceries? Register your Safeway Club Card at www.escrip.com and present your club card at the time of purchase. Our school will earn money every time you make a purchase! Washington-Hoyt e-Scrip Group ID# is: 8567772 and Group Name is: Washington-Hoyt.

ALBERTSON'S CARDS: We have been earning much needed funding through the Albertson's Community Partner Program. Even if you have linked your Preferred Saving Card to our organization in the past, you need to re-link your card number in order for us to continue earning funds. Link (or re-link) your Albertson's card to our organization at www.albertsonscp.com . All you need is your card number and our organization ID. It will only take a minute! If you do not know your Preferred Savings Card number, please call 877-932-7948
Our organization ID# is 49000102020.

The Safeway eScrip program is a fantastic program where schools can earn money from purchases families are already making at their local Safeway.
Many Washington-Hoyt families have registered their Safeway Club Card numbers and now every time they shop a percentage of what they spend is coming back to Washington-Hoyt.
The money that is generated from this program has gone to many different PTA programs including new books for our library, our Accelerated Reading (AR) program and the Missoula Children’s Theatre.
Thank you Safeway for continuing to fund this program even as the economy has slumped. We VERY much appreciate your commitment to education even when (especially when) economic times are hard. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing our partnership with you to fund youth education!
