
Student Arrival and Dismissal
Please arrive at school no earlier than 8:45 AM.
If your child is eating breakfast, he/she may enter the school through the front door no earlier than 8:40 AM and walk directly to the lunchroom. After breakfast your child will walk out to the playground to line up.
There will be signs on the outside wall of the buildings that has teacher names and room numbers. Children should line up quietly by the sign. Playground equipment is not to be played on before school.
- 8:55 AM First bell rings and teachers bring students in the buildings.
- 9:00 AM Second bell rings and students should be in their seats.
- 3:30 PM students are released.
Parents need to be on the playground to pick up their child unless other arrangements have been made with the teacher.
Miss Peggy's Safety Notes
- The speed limit is 20 MPH, please slow down and help keep our children safe.
- Parking at the library or across the street and walking a block is good for you!
- Please don't block the corners of the street
- Always yield to pedestrians in the round-about and crossing the street
- Do not park/stop in the school bus zone on Adams St. or the city bus stop on 26th St. Both buses will honk at you very loudly if you do.
- Use the crosswalks
- Do not stop and drop your children off in the middle of the street.
Food News
- Send a lunch with your student or they may purchase one in the cafeteria by sending money with your student. Go to the TPS Lunch Money Now website for info on how to obtain a pre-paid card for lunches.
Breakfast and lunch will be available for
sale on the first day of school.
Breakfast is $1.50 and Lunch is $2.50.
