THINGS TO DO NOW
What do you think about our Washington-Hoyt PTA Fundraisers?!
If you missed the short survey we sent out last week, you can still give us your feedback! Our PTA fundraisers provide vital funding for programs at Washington-Hoyt. And we want to make sure we’re offering fundraisers that work best for our Washington-Hoyt families and friends. To download a copy of the survey, just click on the link to the school website.

The Reptile Man is coming. Website: http://www.reptileman.com/ . Little introduction is needed, but rest assured that in one sitting you will experience way more snakes and lizards than is entirely necessary for a lifetime. There will be an assembly during school as well as a 7:00pm evening performance at the school. For the evening show, it is $2.00 per person at the door, although he won't turn you away if your piggy bank is on empty.

April 27th - Childrens Author and Illustrator Nina Laden. Her website is http://www.ninaladen.com/ . Here is her description of the assembly. "I love to inspire students and teachers. My programs are interactive and tailored to grade level. In my programs, I discuss how I got started, including showing a book that I made when I was in the fourth grade. I stress keeping sketchbooks/journals and I share mine. I shed light on the writing process, from concept to finished book. I will read from my work. Then I do a unique presentation on character creation that will enlighten and inspire students to draw their own characters with my help. I always encourage questions and stress individuality, not perfection."

Missoula Children's Theater is coming on February 22rd through February 27th! Auditions will be held immediately after school on Monday the 22rd from about 3:15-5:15 p.m.. Approximately 50 children will be chosen for our school production of "Pinocchio". Friday, February 26th at 2:00 p.m., there will be an all-school assembly presented by our touring directors. This is a fun, interactive assembly unrelated to the production. Saturday, February 27th, the cast and crew will give us two performances at 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.! Many volunteers will be needed. Please note that auditions will be closed again this year. Also, if you know your child has any conflicts during the week or is not feeling well please do not have them audition. The directors are not able to keep a list of alternates and we have lost spots for kids to participate due to drop-outs in the past (happily, none last year!). We look forward to an outstanding week of hard work and fun! If you have any questions please email or call Alison Hoseth at awigstromhoseth@hotmail.com or 761-9730.
Needed:
- Volunteers to walk the children from Hoyt to Washington on Monday after school.
- Volunteers to bake or bring items for the concessions stand AND workers for the stand.

We also need socks! New or gently used would be great! We need both girls and boys all sizes! Thank you!
