Message from the Principal! The student day ends at 3:30 PM. The teacher contract day ends at 3:45 PM. Students who are not picked up by 3:40 PM at both Washington and Hoyt will be brought to the Washington office for parents to pick up. We know that there are emergencies that come up. If you know that you will be later than 3:30, please call the Washington Office so arrangements can be made for your child.
For student safety, students can play on the playground only when a parent is present on the playground. Sitting in parked cars is not considered “on the playground.”
Those of you who have older siblings in middle school, please have them be dressed for the weather and remain outside to pick up their siblings. Unfortunately, too many middle school students have abused the privilege of waiting for siblings inside, creating an unsafe environment for our elementary students (i.e. sneaking in the building after being told not to and blocking the main entrance to the building).

__________________________________________________________________________________________________ There will be a Kindergarten Open House for children and families at Hoyt on March 5 from 5:30 – 7 PM. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ On March 3rd, you are all invited to attend sign waving for the bond! We will meet on the sidewalk outside of Washington at 3:40 to wave signs in support of the bond. We cannot be on school property while doing this, but like we did the "Save Washington-Hoyt", we can stand on the sidewalks. Please bring your own sign! Thanks! We have been earning much needed funding through the Albertson's Community Partner Program. Even if you have linked your Preferred Saving Card to our organization in the past, you need to re-link your card number in order for us to continue earning funds.
