Coding With Kids Grades 4-5

Want to become a coding ace and write your own games? Whether you have never written a line of code or have attended our class already, this beginner/intermediate class is for you! You will learn/practice core coding concepts (functions, variables, etc.), as well as important programming skills, such as debugging and time management. Beginners will be creating their first animations, quizzes and computer games in just a few weeks! Returning students will expand their knowledge and work on more challenging, advanced projects. Expect short lessons, lots of hands-on coding, and FUN projects. Then don’t forget to share your creations online with your parents and friends! (We teach in Scratch, a drag-and-drop programming environment developed by MIT Labs: http://scratch.mit.edu.)
